This policy explains what TTSmodachi processes when you use the Discord bot or the voice dashboard.

Data we process

• Discord IDs for users, servers, channels, roles, and the bot account, so settings and voice connections work in the right place.
• Server settings, including configured text channel, role requirements, prefix, message length, emoji behavior, name announcement, and default voice.
• User voice settings, saved voice presets, selected default voice, custom TTS names, and text replacement rules.
• When you use /voice, your Discord user ID, display name, avatar URL, and link time for the dashboard session.
• Aggregate analytics such as server count, linked account count, spoken message count, current active voice user count, and queue/runtime health.

Message content

When the bot is active in a configured text channel or voice channel chat, message text and attachment filenames may be read, cleaned, and sent to the renderer so audio can be generated. TTSmodachi does not intentionally store raw Discord message text as database records. Generated audio may be cached as WAV files to improve speed and reduce duplicate rendering; that cache is pruned by size.

How we use data

We use this data to operate the bot, join and leave voice channels, generate speech, save your voice settings, run the dashboard, display public aggregate analytics, debug failures, prevent abuse, and keep the service stable.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by Discord, the server hosting provider, and services needed to run the bot and dashboard. Information may also be shared if required to comply with law, platform rules, or abuse investigations.

Retention and deletion

Server and user settings are kept until they are changed, deleted, unlinked, or the bot is removed and the data is cleaned up. Use /unlink to remove your dashboard account link and dashboard voice preset. Use /voices delete to delete saved custom voices. Server admins can change or remove server settings. Contact support for other deletion requests.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect stored settings and dashboard links, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

TTSmodachi is intended for Discord users who are allowed to use Discord. It is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy when the bot changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
